After sailing the world with the Italian merchant navy for 5 years, Filippo entered the world of yachting aboard MY RAMSES in 1997 as a quartermaster. Gradually, he built up his skills by joining MY SUD as second captain, then MY FREEMONT, where he stayed for 8 years, including 6 in the role of captain. With Filippo at the helm of MY FREEMONT, it won the highly coveted Fraser Yachts fleet award for “Best Charter Captain and Crew”, two years in a row. Next, he was made captain of the MY OUT 50 m yacht, where he remained for 3 years. Filippo is very professional and loves to create a family spirit with his crew. He is a very cheerful and welcoming person, always ready to entertain customers of all ages. Filippo is trilingual and speaks Italian as well as French and English. If ever he can’t make himself understood, he’ll use the international language of the Italians: hand gestures! After his sixth charter season aboard MY MAGENTA, Filippo wanted to take on a new challenge: the VERTIGE. This dazzling yacht awaits him to ride the waves of the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.
